In order to provide the best mobile experience, we are making an app transition! Effective December 31st, our current app will not longer be operational. Don’t worry! We will back and better than ever with a new mobile experience in 2021.
As always, we appreciate your continued support especially throughout 2020. We wouldn’t have the opportunity to enhance our platform without our caffeinated community. Your coffee journey is our utmost concern, and we want to provide the best experiences possible.
Until then, here’s some frequently asked questions regarding this transition.
- When is the app going away and what does that mean for my account?
On December 30th, the app will be inactive. This means your account and information will no longer be accessible.
- How do I get my rewards points until the new app is live?
Until December 31st, you can use the current app and we will still track all of your points. In the interim, we will ask that you use our Frequent Flyer punch card that will allow you to earn points towards rewards. These will be available at any Roasterie Café location across the KC metro.
- Will I still get a double punch on Tuesdays?
Yes, Double Punch Tuesdays will still be available with the Frequent Flyer punch cards at all cafés.
- Can I still place an order for pickup?
Yes, and there are a couple ways to do so. You can call the café and place your order over the phone. You can also order ahead for pickup or delivery with Grubhub through their website or app. Curbside delivery will still be available.
- When will the new app be released?
We currently do not have a launch date set for the new app, but we are so excited to bring you a seamless mobile experience in 2021. Our goal is by February or March 2021.
- What will happen to my rewards points?
We are working on a solution to ensure your continued loyalty and service is rewarded with the new app. We will have record of your points earned through the end of the year and have plans to incentivize by either front loading your new account or starting you on the appropriate tier according to the new plan. We will also have our team ready to assist to ensure a smooth transition and answer all of your questions.
- Can I still use the app until December 31st?
Yes, the app will still be operational until that date, but make sure you pick up a Frequent Flyer punch card for purchases after that.
- Will I have to download a new app?
Yes, the new mobile experience will be a completely different app. After December 31st, the current app will be removed from the App Store and Google Play.
- Does this affect your website or cafés?
Our website will not be affected by this change. The cafés will continue to operate as normal until the new app is ready. At that time, the cafés will begin accepting mobile orders through the app.
