Public Cuppings, or coffee tastings, are free to the public and are held every 1st and 3rd Thursday of the month in the Cupping Room at our Factory, on the 2nd Wednesday of each month at our Lenexa Public Market Café, and on the 4th Wednesday of each month at Brookside Café. Join us in sampling a variety of coffees from all over the world, led by an experienced member of our team. Our staff will guide you through the samples and answer any questions you have about the coffees on the table and why they taste the way they do. Please RSVP to reserve your spot (maximum of 8 people per cupping).

In this experience you'll be led by a knowledgeable Roasterie barista in the fine art of manual coffee brewing. We'll discuss the significance of water quality and water temperature, grind size, coffee dose, and brew time as they relate to the extraction method of each brewing device. You'll learn brewing technique for French Press, Chemex, V60 and AeroPress. After your class, you'll receive $20 credit to our retail store to be redeemed that day on the coffee device of your choice!

This Roaster's Experience is a 60 minute in-depth plunge into the world of roasting. One of our experienced roasters will guide you onto our roasting floor where you'll get hands-on roasting experience with our state of the art Loring roasters. Learn about the art of creating the perfect roast curve for each coffee in order to maximize its full flavor potential. This experience concludes with you creating and taking home your very own coffee blend.

One of our talented team members will lead you through the fine art of being a Barista. This class will cover drink building, machine basics, espresso and milk texture. Classes are kept to small groups in order to give all participants adequate time to practice their craft. Participants will receive a complimentary barista apron to take home with them! Due to current construction, Barista Experience classes are held at The Roasterie's Corrigan Station Café at 1828 Walnut St Suite 102, Kansas City, MO.
4th Saturday of each month
A 90 minute in-depth look at what it takes to produce a great cup of coffee - from cultivation, harvesting and processing to exporting/importing, roasting and brewing. One of our knowledgeable Roasterie tour guides will lead your experience to give you a better understanding of all of the hard work that goes into making your cup of coffee the best that it can be! We'll conclude by cupping coffee and discussing a range of flavor profiles from around the world.

This Level 2 class is available to those who have completed the Barista Experience course. A Roasterie Barista will lead you through an hour long class dedicated to the art of the milk. They will teach you milk texture, the vortex and pour technique. You’ll learn to pour a rosetta, tulip, heart and monks head. Each participant will take home their own steaming pitcher. Due to current construction, Latte Art classes are held at The Roasterie's Corrigan Station Café at 1828 Walnut St Suite 102, Kansas City, MO.
