Region: Arsi; Sidamo
Elevation: 6,000 feet
Grower: Smallholder farmers
Varietals: Native Ethiopian heirloom
Processing: Fully washed
This fully washed Ethiopian offering from the Refisa washing station in the West Arsi zone of the Sidamo growing region bursts with citrus aromatics and notes of sweet lemon and maple syrup before a long, clean finish. The washed processing method extracts the seed (the bean) from the coffee cherry and removes and cleans it of the fruit and pulp before drying it on raised beds. This method allows for a complex cup with all the classic flavors we’ve come to expect from great Ethiopian coffees – citrus, berries, and florals. Great as a Chemex, V60, or cold brew, this coffee is as versatile as it is delicious.
