This Month at The Roasterie: May 2013

April showers don’t just bring May flowers…they bring specials, events and promotions at The Roasterie!  We’re excited to announce some fun events and specials (especially for you moms out there) in order to celebrate the beautiful month of May.  What’s going on at The Roasterie this month?  Take a look:

Mother’s Day Specials!

Tell Mom you love her by showering her with gifts from The Roasterie!  We have Roasterie products on sale this month just for moms, grandmothers and all of the women in your life:

  • Tea Gift Pack (mix and match any 2 of our teas to fit your mother’s taste!): $19.96
  • Diner Mugs with Betty’s Blend (named after Bean Baron Danny O’Neill’s mother and her snickerdoodle cookies): $10.67
  • 2 & 4 pack macaroon special: $5.00 for 2 macaroons, $9.00 for 4.

First Fridays is Back!

Mark it down on your calendar—May 3rd is First Fridays and our plant is open for business!  We will feature Kevin A. Mimms and Jesse McAfee, two amazing local artists and serve up some of our delicious Roasterie blends.  Plus, we have partnered up with the Crossroads Academy for Artists Take Flight in order to support students, families and young artists. Join us at the Bean Hangar Event Space to see student art as well at 1204 W. 27th St. at 5:30pm.

Join us at the Brookside Art Fair

Fingers crossed it won’t be too chilly!  But if it is, warm up at our Roasterie café in Brookside during the Brookside Art Fair May 3-5.  We will be serving scrumptious Smallcake cupcakes and have plenty of hot chocolate on hand for the kids.  Swing by and sip on our delicious coffees and teas as you explore the art fair!

Coffee 101: Iced Coffee

Ever attempt to make iced coffee in the summer and it just doesn’t taste…right?  Lucky for you, Professor Bean Simeon Bricker will host Coffee 101: Iced Coffee on Saturday, May 11 and will discuss brewing techniques like the pour over and Toddy.  To RSVP, email
